The Justice Portal of North Rhine-Westphalia was developed within the overall project of Justiz-Online and represents one of the state's most comprehensive Internet offers with around 70,000 pages, 8 online procedures, 5 online databases and several million accesses to the pages every month. 

Minister of Justice, Roswitha Müller-Piepenkötter: "With its offer of Justiz-Online the state underlines its competence in the use of new media. The legal database for federal and state law provided in the portal is one of the most comprehensive German collections on the Internet with 3,000 acts. Germany's largest state judicature database with nearly 40,000 judicial decisions complements the Online Legal Library provided here."
